About the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center
Meet the Staff
Daniel Czypinski
Theater Manager - Daniel is a California native, who was born in Los Angeles, and raised much of his life in Northern Wisconsin.
Originally constructed in 1985, a very unique designed theatre has been one of the first offered in the Carlsbad area. The Cultural Arts Center has been the hub of educational arts for Carlsbad families and community for three decades. The theater has enriched its uses by extending the stage to local, professionals and private companies for a vast variety of visual and diverse programs.
The Cultural Arts Center has a unique foyer area and lobby for guest to enjoy prior to our productions and during intermissions. This area also offers the ability for silent auctions and concessions as well.
The auditorium of 400 seats offers a tier seating arrangement for an optimum view anywhere in the house.
The support from students, teachers, volunteers and the community of Carlsbad have enabled us to enhance some of our greatest features within the facility such as sound, lighting and the overall visual quality and environment of each production the theater hosts.
The Cultural Arts Center was designed as a high-performance environment for future generations and is infused with technology to give its students opportunities for the most advanced production skills.
